We recently entered the VizDepot rendering competition - 'Make us wish we were there'. Vizdepot is one of many online CG communities.

They provided contestants with a basic block model with no materials, lighting or camera view. We could choose any angle and lighting setup

to render, and we could introduce as many elements as we liked as long as we kept to the geometry they provided (which included the main

building, the pool and the bure). We attained honourable mention no.1 (4th place) in the competition for our entry below.
